Diamond Teleports
Detailed information on how to build and configure a Diamond Teleport can be found at https://arklegacy-server.net/tips.html#teleports.
Note: there been some noticeable changes since those instructions were posted, detailed below.
- Rainbow (Nyan) blocks have been replaced by Glowing Rosestone Tails.
- New items can be used to fuel teleports: namely, Mese Crystal Fragments and Glowing Rosestone Seeds.
- When a teleport machine is dug only one diamond is returned (not 8 as stated on the Enyekala website).
Glowing Rosestone Tails
The Rainbow blocks (Nyan tails) are now called Glowing Rosestone Tail blocks and CAN NOT be crafted.
Glowing Rosestone Tails can be found in the Overworld and Cavern realms at any height, from on the surface to very deep down. They can often be spotted floating in large caverns and are best collected using a Silver Axe.
These are not to be confused with the Rose Stone blocks, which can instead be crafted: while very similar in appearance, Rose Stone is totally worthless when building a teleport pad. For reference, below is a comparison of these two blocks.
-
Glowing Rosestone Tail
This is the block now used to "supercharge" a teleport pad. It is mostly found in large caverns, and can't be crafted.
-
Rose Stone
This is a decor block, made from pyrite and lapis. It is non functional to any teleport setup.
New Teleport Fuels
In addition to Mossy Cobblestone and Waterlilies, Mese Crystal Fragments can now also be used to fuel a Teleport Machine. These are a cheaper option to consider, being easier to obtain in higher quantities by farming or crafting from mese crystals.
In addition, a Glowing Rosestone Seed can also be put into a teleport machine's fuel slot: this is a special fuel in that it never runs out! There is a side effect, though: it will also make the teleport broadcast a Recall Beacon, which will be publicly visible to anyone owning a Key of Citizenship (KoC).
-
Mese Crystal Fragment
The least efficient fuel option: it is easy to get in larger quantities by farming or it can be made from mese crystals, but all things being equal more is required when compared to other fuel types.
-
Mossy Cobblestone
This is the most common teleport fuel: fairly abundant during the winter, it has a medium efficency.
-
Waterlily
The most efficient teleport fuel, a full stack of this teleport fuel will last longer than the other fuel types.
-
Glowing Rosestone Seed
Not truly a type of fuel as it does not get consumed, this will power the teleport and it never runs out! It also turns the teleport into a public Recall Beacon.
Configuring the Teleport Range
The range of the teleport is determined by the 8 blocks surrounding the teleport block. Crowding teleports too close together may reduce their range.
Overworld/Caverns/Nether: if the teleport is located in the Overworld, Caverns or Nether the range decreases exponentially with depth. Note: teleports built in the Overworld, Caverns or Nether prior to 2024 do not have the range reduction applied when configured with 8 Glowing Rosestone Tails. These teleports can be reconfigured but if destroyed and rebuilt the range reduction will be applied as it will basically be a new teleport.
Naraxen: the additional range added by configuration blocks is reduced by 90% for all teleports located in Naraxen. This does not affect the inherent 250 block range of a basic teleport.
Each teleport has a minimum range of 250 blocks, regardless of what (if any) blocks surround it. The following block types can be used to add to the minimum range with approximate distances indicated applying when built on the surface of the Overworld:
Type | Per Block | Total Range (8 Blocks) |
